New Hilton Cleveland Downtown A “Great Example” Of “Bleisure” Property.
In an opinion piece for Hotel News Now (5/26), Stephanie Ricca describes her impressions of “the brand-new, set-to-open-next-week Hilton Cleveland Downtown,” which she toured last week. She writes, “It’s an absolutely gorgeous ground-up development, it typifies a lot of the overall changes Hilton Worldwide Holdings is making with its flagship brand..., and it’s been a pretty solid example of public-private partnerships when it comes to hotel development.” Ricca writes that “seeing this particular hotel was a great example of how Hilton is doing a lot to listen to its business guests in a time where big-box, full-service hotels are dying out as the rest of the industry focuses on select-service boutiques.” The Hilton Cleveland Downtown “is a great example of the blurring lines of business and leisure” – bleisure – and “of how big-box hotels are reinventing themselves because they have to,” she says.
