Blazing a sustainable trail, a look inside Delta Fire’s green revolution...

Hi Reader,

With my fire background, it was hard not to go with Lanna Deamer to Norfolk to see how Delta Fire Ltd makes fire hoses and kit for fire and rescue services, especially with the wildfire innovations I had heard about but never seen. She has done a fabulous job of capturing the green credentials of this firm, not only in the way it makes the kit but the way it runs its business to reduce its impact on our world. Find out more in this week’s lead story.

I’ve been loving Volunteers’ Week, reading all the stories from across the emergency services makes me realise that there is huge power in what they do to keep communities safe. Chief Constable Lucy D’Orsi captures this beautifully in her contribution to your weekend reading.
