A 'Blast' around Sussex and Kent on my H2

Early yesterday morning I set off from my home in Kent to ride to Goodwood for the 1st Breakfast Club meeting of 2017. Arriving there at 7.40 AM I was surprised to see thousands upon thousands of people and hundreds and hundreds of cars and motorbikes. What an incredible set up and following this 'little' breakfast meeting has!

The question I often pose is 'Old or New' Take the yellow 1960's SV Muira at the top, would you rather that, the first ever truly mid engine Supercar or the very latest SV version in Lime green above? We all know which is more valuable however as a drivers vehicle, the old simply cannot compare with the new.

Same question, different marque, newer GT40 or Old? We appreciate the Nostalgia and history, however the old cars are hard work, hot and not overly designed for comfort or indeed safety!

The below photo shows a really rare sight for the Ferrari lovers among us! Not one, two or three, but no less than 5 F40's lined up (there were several more in attendance) and although not that new, this car so far as performance goes can literally hold its own in much newer company.

After Goodwood I rode over to Brands Hatch, some of the way with a new Kawasaki H2 owner who this week fitted our H2R type exhaust, these bikes will see off any Supercar period and with over 270 rwhp make for very rapid travel (if desired).

A fantastic cross country dash to Brands to watch the Blancpain European GT race which was simply brilliant, I took the below shot as Lamborghini's seemed to feature heavily in my day and although I've only ever owned one, the allure of that Miura was a joy to behold.
