A Blank Canvas in Blackheath - #InteriorDesign

We've all been spending more times in our homes than we expected this past year and so interior design is more important than ever - making the most of the spaces we live in, breathing new life into them, or taking on the challenge of moving to an entirely new space. A blank canvas is always exciting for a designer and you couldn't get much blanker than this property I took on near the Blackheath area of South East London. From literally uncovering what surprises where left behind by the 'extreme hoarder' previous owners, right through to eventually stripping the house back to little more than its 4 outside walls. It's rare to get to work on such a radical project as this but couldn't be happier with the results.

A side return extension expanded the kitchen, whilst also allowing us to create a new downstairs utility room/hall/toilet space. Upstairs a beautiful master bedroom with full size bathroom en-suite, connects down some internal stairs to a full dressing room half a floor below for a real wow moment. Hopefully these photos give you a sense for the project, and perhaps some ideas for what we could achieve together, even if on a much smaller scale.
