Blakedale | Calling on the industry’s help to name new vehicle

Blakedale has launched a social media campaign to find the perfect name for their new low-bodied 3.5 tonne traffic management vehicle, prior to an official unveiling at Traffex in April.

The shortlist so far includes Cone Ranger, Cone Hopper, Cone Zone and Low Voyager. Blakedale are asking customers and the industry to vote for their favourite or to submit further name suggestions. The new low deck vehicle offers the ideal solution for the deployment of cones and signage in the inner city as well as rural environments.

The low level or low-bodied vehicle has been designed in collaboration with leading traffic management companies to ensure it addresses the issues faced by fleet managers and operatives working on these dangerous and challenging roads. With a bed height of just 530mm, the vehicle allows operatives to step on and off the trailer quickly and safely and removes the need for cone wells.

Please cast your vote or send your name suggestions via social media for a chance to win a magnum of champagne. The winner and name will be announced on the Blakedale stand (D63) at Traffex at The NEC, Birmingham on 4-6 April.
