The Blacksmith Forge, Beating Heart of an Ancient Town.

Iron, Fire and Sweat.

For over a millennium many of the tools of the blacksmiths trade haven’t changed, at the simplest level all you need to create amazing works in metal is a fire, a hammer an anvil and a strong arm. Our Bethlehem forge and shop re-creation would have been responsible for crafting the needs of the town, from simple nails to swords and plowshares. Based on period Roman smithy’s, it occupies an important spot on our main throughfare playing an integral part in the daily lives of this Judean hill town.
