Blackshore Launches on RTé
Experience the gripping debut of Blackshore Season 1, which premiered on RTE Sunday, February 3rd at 9:30 PM.
We were delighted to once again team up with our friends at Treasure Entertainment for this compelling series.
The series follows DI Fia Lucey as she embarks on a haunting journey back to her hometown, entangled in a mysterious missing person case that unravels her own traumatic past and exposes the dark secrets haunting the town's history.
Director Dathaí Keane on working with us:
"Creating a new show like?Blackshore?is always a massive challenge. Throughout the post-production on this series, the team at Windmill Lane rose to the challenge and brought the world of?Blackshore?to vivid life. Tone and mood play such an important role in this show and I spent a lot of time with the sound team at Windmill, led by Fionan Higgins MPSE and Mark Henry, designing an immersive and detailed soundscape that?makes the?whole viewing experience so much more visceral and intense. Likewise, in the grade, Matt Branton worked closely with myself and our DOP JJ Rolfe to?design?the overall look and texture of the series. The VFX team at Windmill, led by John Kennedy , also worked with us from prep stage through to post-production and helped us realise a number of complex sequences to their fullest potential. Having all these departments under one roof at Windmill Lane ensured a seamless workflow, and allowed us to create a show that I am?very proud of. It was a pleasure working with them all."
