Racial Equity At Work: Moving the needle on racial equity in the workplace

LinkedIn Influencer and founder of Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) John Rice writes this monthly newsletter about creating inclusion and racial equity in the workplace. Here he writes:

"The simple truth is that those occupying the C-suites have an incredible opportunity to lead us toward greater equality in our society. Racial equity in the workplace is crucial to changing the narrative on race in our communities. How I Got Here: Every successful career starts somewhere. #HowIGotHere reveals the story behind that journey.

LinkedIn Managing News Editor Maya Pope-Chappell hosts this biweekly video and newsletter series profiling entrepreneurs, innovators and creatives sharing their blueprint for success, and what they've learned along the way. One of her most recent articles profiles John Henry, a former doorman turned serial entrepreneur who says:

And you just keep flipping up and you might be surprised where you find yourself a few years out if you stuck to it." [Read more here]

I am seeing “racial equity” used frequently since the Whitehorse began using the phrase. Can anyone give me a universal definition of “racial equity” and compare it to “racial equality “ Thanks
