Black Tie Affair Celebrating 7 Years

Thank you so much to everyone for the well wishes on our 7th Anniversary. Who knew that 7 years ago when I started my little side hustle, that it would become my main hustle?! 

I couldn't do it without all my amazing sub-contractors, and all the clients who have embraced us on their own amazing journeys celebrating people's special days. I have created a beautiful work environment for myself surrounded by inspirational people. Just servers and bartenders?! Hardly, these are people who give up their weekends for me and our clients to be part of other people's celebrations. Teachers, law students, medical students, every kind of student really, admins, people in recovery, musicians, landscapers, sales reps, artists, techies, other small business owners, homemakers, the list goes on and on. I always say, I never feel like I'm going to work, I'm just going to hang out with my paid Friends.

What brings me the most joy over the last several years? The people I have inspired to also follow their dreams. It is not easy being a small business owner, but if you believe in yourself, have drive and determination, accept the losses with the gains, learn from every set back, yes, you too can enjoy a job that you love to wake up to every day.

Again, thank you for everyone's encouragement, and cheers to all the small business owners out there. I know my dollars stay in my community. So get out there and support your local small businesses. It really is beneficial for everyone.
