'Black South Africans Should Be Ashamed of The ANC'

Black people wake up before its too late. We are 28 years behind already. I am deeply saddened that in 1997 when I did my thesis entitled Wealth creation in South Africa! I tackled the failure of African leaders from Nkwame Nkrumah to Julius Nyerere and others. I delved deeply on the nepotism, maladministration, mismanagement and gross squandering of public funds.
I looked at various leaders in the continent who tried their best to rid the continent of imperialism. I looked at Julius Nyereres failed socialist program of Ujamaa which left Tanzania as a country dependent on donor funding.
I looked at Nigeria and the disturbingly high levels of corruption.
I looked at the Congo where those who called then revolutionaries brought white statues down, grabbed white peoples land only to leave tractors standing there and the land untilled to this day followed by company grabs and later chasing white people away thinking that their lives will be better off, then tribal wars started and rebel groups were formed and everyone wanted a stake in the mines and a tribal war ensued which had lasted to this day.....Then I drew this conclusion what a privilege to be born South African!

I said in my thesis against by authors articulated that South Africa by virtue of being an African country was more likely to embrace corruption, nepotism, cronyism, kleptocracy in my twisted mind I argued why SA would never take that route. I stated that the ANC had gathered a lot of experience whilst in exile and for that reason alone and the fact that we were the very last to get our independence we were bound to learn from the failure of our fellow Africans.
I was excited that at least the Anc spent sometime in Tanzania. When Zambia nationalised the copper mines and the economic disaster that followed thereafter gave me hope that the Anc would lead us to freedom! I remember my Zambian friend who used to tell me that Kwacha lost so much value one had to take a wheelbarrow full of kwachas to buy one loaf of bread. I then started looking at the emerging Asian Pacific countries and their resounding success. Where entrepreneurship became the order of the day. I said yes this is what will be like under Anc rule!Mind you am talking about countries that were also colonised others twice. I added that Sa was going to be the envy of many.
Different authors kept on reminding me that Sa may be a beacon of hope but 99% likely to be corrupt. I then created my own Sa where small businesses would thrive. Where wealth would be created and not redistributed..Now Black folk after studying Afrikaner history after British rule I have this to say until we start our own institutions, companies, universities and anything related to Black excellence we will never fix this country. We will blame colonialism until Christ comes. Unless we create a culture of hard work we will continue to blame others for our failures.
People have short breath trying to force White companies to transform, that makes very little difference. We need to see Khoza and Associates, we need Black companies that will compete with white owned companies to grow this economy from all spheres. Job creation should be our central focus. Those who think that land is some magic wand remind me of my cousin. She has her own stand she owns it its huge but she is poor like hell. She even wants to sell it. We sees it daily as South Africans continue to sell their Rdp houses. This economy needs to create jobs asap, wealth needs to be multiplied by creating entrepreneurs asap the education system must be fixed.
We can no longer afford to bee a nanny state. Freebie culture must fall and Sa will be great. A culture of hard work must be instilled in real life there is nothing for mahhala....Education only 30% of students should be at varsities. Fix the ..primary education its a mess.By: Thandeka Gugulethu Khoza (ZamaKhoza)
