In May of this year, I had the great fortune to participate in the Alba Music Festival Composer Program in Alba, Italy. Fourteen composers were chosen to be part of the festival. I wrote a new quintet piece for the performing ensemble, SOLI Chamber Ensemble. The piece was performed on May 30. We recorded the piece again in a recording studio/theater on June 1.

SOLI Chamber Ensemble is Stephanie Key (clarinet), David Mollenauer (cello), Ertan Torgul (violin), and Carolyn True (piano). I brought my cymbals and performed with the ensemble on Black Shadows.
