Black Progress In The Making

I'm a Bible Christian. An author, poet and song writer posting poetry from my books inspired by the written word of God
"For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee." - Psalm 128:2
On April 8, 2022 Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson was confirmed by the Senate as the first Black Female Supreme Court Justice. This was over 230 years in the making. From enslavement to empowerment we stand on the shoulders of all who came before us. Look how far we've come but we still have a ways to go. The things we have accomplished thus far is our ancestors wildest dreams. Yet the struggles continues for we can never give in never give up.
Struggle is no stranger to Israelites, a people of color black, brown and various shades of gold. We come from a strong, tough, resilient generation, our roots run deep. It's in our DNA. Our ancestors survived 400 years of slavery. Only the strong could survive the pain, misery and suffering they endured. We must lift each other up not tear one another down. Let not our struggles be in vain, reach out don't leave anyone behind.
We are not looking for a handout but striving for inclusion an equal playing field. We must continue the struggle for one day our children will stand on our shoulders. The fact remains God had the Prophets write the history of Israelites in the Holy Bible (KJV) so not to be buried or forgotten. The bible is our legacy whereby we must teach our children their heritage.
"Commit thy?works?unto the?Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established." - Proverbs 16:3
