(Black Panther Movie Coincide With GRCAM Vision)

I enjoyed watching Black Panther movie. The film is based on the Marvel Comics character. In Black Panther, T’Challa returns home as king of Wakanda but finds his sovereignty challenged by a long-time adversary, in a conflict that has global consequences. The budget to produce the film was $210 million and the box office has earned $1.134 billion worldwide. This movie has challenge me to take classes as a film director and screenwriter. I want to learn the ins and outs about becoming a film director and how to be a screenwriter in order to turn my revised book into a short film entitled “Hood Liberator Made In Chicago” from an urban Christian perspective. 

I'm still looking for a legitimate film producer in the Chicagoland area or beyond who feel strongly about working with me in making this movie which will honor Jesus Christ while sharing my story. I am looking for people who are skilled with cameras, lighting, sound, Musicians and Actors. The length of the film will be 20 minutes and the location of the film will be set in Chicago. I am working on a shoe string budget once I have my film crew in place we will discuss compensation after you are selected from our panel. I will display the short film at film festivals, Youtube and screenings until I am able to gather sponsors to fund the full movie.

For 26 years established black organizations in the city of Chicago has refuse to work with me and instead keep our people misinformed. Since 2001, over 4,000 people in Chicago alone has been killed due to urban violence and still our black leaders don’t have a plan to solve urban violence. With Donald Trump in the White House, now more than ever Black Americans/African Americans and others need to take a second look at what I’ve been sharing with them all the long and heed to the vision which God has given me.

I created (GRCAM) the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement on November 10th 1991 on a site called Gopher to help raise awareness about the genocide which is taking place within our inner cities in America in order for me to connect with other like-minded individuals who share my concern to form a legitimate coalition across the United States and around the globe for my cause Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos starting in Chicago.

Today GRCAM is on 300 social networks and has grown into a global movement, with thousands of people in my online social groups from around the world. My goal now is to turn GRCAM into a real Christian business (GRCAI) the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago. 

GRCAM Vision - To connect with 30 professionals within the United States who have read my story and who meet the qualifications that I am looking for which are as follows: Investors, Business Partners, Christian Entrepreneurs, Social Entrepreneurs and Philanthropist.

I am also looking for legitimate Film Producers, Actors, Stage Managers, Grant Writers/Fundraisers, Technical Directors, Marketers, Accountants, Business Administrators, Social Workers, Financial Planners, Lawyers, Real Estate Brokers and Insurance Agents. After they pass the criminal background checks. I will discuss compensation and incentives with them behind closed doors. My team will create both a nonprofit cooperative organization and a For Profit service based business on the same premises in order to make my organization effective and successful for years to come.

The Mission

To end urban violence, poverty, structural inequality, institutionalized racism, and police brutality within the communities and cities we will serve if given a chance.

To strengthen the black family while at the same time meet the social needs of the urban communities and families that want to utilize our programs and services if given a chance.

To become an infrastructure for aspirating artist and upcoming black entrepreneurs.

The only thing which is preventing me from starting my Christian organization is the lack of manpower and the capital this is why I am on social media to get my message out to the public through my Youtube videos, my Social Groups, my Blog Postings, my online talkshow, and now through my revised book “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” second edition available on Amazon. This book is an auto-biography about my experience growing up in the inner city of Chicago.

In my book I provide a 21st century plan on how my Christian organization will help eradicate urban violence in the city of Chicago while at the same time meet the social needs of the urban communities and families that want to utilize our programs and services if given a chance. I wrote my book in order to generate capital/seed money so that I can hire qualified people to assist me with the daily operation of my Christian business.

GRCAI will create a Black Wall Street within our inner cities and in the slums of Africa. The world will be freed by our liberty, enriched by our wealth, magnified by our greatness. And whatever we attempt therefore to accomplish for our own welfare, will react powerfully and beneficially for the good of humanity.

Black representation and analysis

The release of Black Panther is a rare opportunity for inner city youths to see a black male in a positive role. This representation is way overdue especially for those who are often underserved, unprivileged, and marginalized in American society. It’s themes challenge institutional bias, its characters take unsubtle digs at oppressors, and its narrative includes prismatic perspectives on black traditions.

I encourage others to create their own campaigns in their own communities to take more children to see the film. I just want children from my community to have the same opportunity as others from well to do homes to see this movie. I think this is an awesome opportunity for black children to see themselves reflected in a positive light compared to what they see from main stream media on a daily basis.

The film avoided black pain, suffering, and poverty, usual topics based around the black experience. Shuri portrayed a strong female character, which could be an inspiration for girls and young people. I hope that this film would increase black children’s interest in Math, Science, Technology and Africa. This film could make a huge impact on black children psyche, knowing that not only can they succeed in life but they need to know that others want to watch them succeed too.

This is how we help build a generation of young people who are engaged in the greater good. The film also prove that African-American narratives have the power to generate profits from all audiences. Wakanda is a fictional place. We have for centuries sought to either find or create a promised land where we would be untroubled by the criminal acts we face in America. It's a powerful fictional analogy for real-life struggles. Black Panther taps a 400 year history of African-descended people imagining freedom, land and national autonomy.

The film's subtext about African history , colonialism including post-colonialism and neo-colonialism coincide with what I’ve written in my book about Africa today which is divided and tribal wars that are still occurring in this day and age. In the film Wakanda is govern by wealthy and feuding elites, whose fortune comes from a meteor helped it advance with technical abilities from Vibranium. Wakandans are suspicious towards outsiders, to the point of being xenophobic and no outsider can truly be trusted. The end of colonialism did not end Western tampering in Africa's politics. We see this issue still going on in Africa today.

The Black Panther movie offers an opportunity to explore this issue of neo-colonialism and its continued impact on Africa's development. The struggle between T'Challa and Killmonger, offers two very distinct philosophies one view what it means to be African and conversely, what Africa means to African Americans. From my perspective, Wakanda represents Africa without Western colonialism, and Killmonger shows us that we can sometimes inevitably become what we seek to destroy. With Wakanda's resources in his fingertips, Killmonger wants to become the new colonizer; a colonizer of the West.

The divide between Africans and African-Americans, for example, T'Challa and Killmonger represented dueling responses to five centuries of African exploitation at the hands of the West. The film exists in an invented nation in Africa, a continent that has been grappling with invented versions of itself ever since white men first declared it the 'dark continent' and set about plundering its people and its resources.

Black Panther contains a fundamentally reactionary understanding of black liberation that blatantly advocates respectability politics over revolution, sterilizes the history of real-life anti-colonial struggles in Africa and elsewhere. Ross is portrayed as "the hero" for shooting down the Wakandan ships attempting to leave as the film's way of endorsing the crushing of armed revolt against oppression, and in particular, it helped solidify the message that violence is perfectly fine, so long as it's not directed against white people. In 2018, we have a president who identifies white supremacists as fine people, we are given a movie about black empowerment where the only redeemed blacks are African nobles. They safeguard virtue and goodness against the threat not of white Americans or Europeans, but from an African-American.
