Dear Friends,
Good day. I would highly encourage everyone to watch the incredibly insightful lecture series exploring the root causes, and potential corrective solutions, regarding the painful inequity of minority representation in the medical profession. These powerful sessions are being co-sponsored by?the extremely talented professionals at both the Harvard Medical School Center for Bioethics and the Tuskegee University National Center for Bioethics in Research and Health Care. The official description of the monthly events is reprinted below in italics, with the corresponding weblink listed thereafter. Post session video recordings will also be made available. A fantastic opportunity to learn, reflect, and grow. Peace and blessings to all.
In honor of Black History Month, Harvard Medical School Center for Bioethics and the Tuskegee University National Center for Bioethics in Research and Health Care have partnered?on a series of events examining the history of racism in health care, its impact on Black individuals and the Black community, and gathering solutions for a healthier future from experts and thought leaders in history, health policy and law, social justice, and public health and medicine. Each event is held on Wednesdays in February beginning at 6 p.m. ET and the recording will be posted to the HMS Center for Bioethics YouTube page.
