Black Hawk Heavy Lift Operations

Many people passing through our FBO find it incredible we have two Sikorsky UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters. Originally designed for military use, they now serve as utility helicopters for medium heavy lift operations all across the country. Operating under a Part 133 operation specifications means these aircraft are held to a certain standard to ensure public safety while enabling commercial benefits to communities. In most cases a helicopter can be more cost efficient than renting a crane. The helicopters give contractors operational flexibility that cranes can't accomplish without tearing down and setting up again, and again, and again.

The maximum lifting capacity of the helicopters is 8,000lbs making a Blackhawk an ideal lifting platform for many civilian applications. While we don't participate in wildfire fighting applications, we do assist with wildlife management in clearing the rampant wild hog population of Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. We have experienced US Veterans as pilots, crew chiefs, and mechanics. Without these folks none of our operations would be possible.
