In 1998 I was reading the classified ads at my home in the bay area and I saw the following ad, "Hip-Hop Record Label Seeking Investor". On a whim, I decided to invest $50K in that record label.

Four months later, our first artist won a contest on MTV, had two singles on the Billboard charts and had their video on MTV. That was the beginning of 10 years I spent in the music business selling thousands of units and hosting concerts for thousands more. All this with absolutely ZERO music talent.
