Race 5 no. 3 HARMATTAN was really good first up from a spell. She was held up early in the straight and then poked her nose through a tight gap. She peaked on her effort in the last 100m but can strip fitter.

Race 7 no. 3 EMPERORS WAY had little chance when he settled worse than midfield in this contest and they found the line in 33.26. He really attacked the line late and surged into fourth. Looks like he’s in for a good preparation.

Race 2 no. 5 HAAMES got squeezed right out at the top of the straight and lost all momentum. He got going again late and found the line really nice. Can win a similar race soon.
