Today, I celebrate with immense gratitude and pride my 4th anniversary at Mondelez International, based in Costa Rica. I joined this amazing company in the midst of the pandemic, seeking to return to the corporate world after several years of working independently.
Yesterday, I was reminiscing with some friends about how this opportunity came to be, and I can’t thank my mentor, Yojana Hidalgo, enough for trusting me and my skills to support the leadership team in tackling one of the biggest challenges of that time: strengthening virtual employee engagement at Mondelez. I took this step full of hope and with the certainty that it was a pivotal decision for my family’s well-being, despite the uncertainty of running a personal business that had been severely impacted by the pandemic.
Looking back, I feel deeply satisfied remembering all the amazing people who have been part of this journey and the valuable learning experiences along the way. Over these 4 years, I’ve had the privilege of contributing my expertise and skills in areas such as Service Management, Events, and Communications, leading initiatives that positively impacted MDS employees in Costa Rica and across the region. From activities to strengthen organizational culture to impactful campaigns, I’ve poured my heart into co-creating meaningful moments with incredible teams.
Today, I’m excited about this new chapter in my career as I recently transitioned to the Talent Acquisition team, an area that has sparked my interest and is allowing me to broaden my knowledge of the business from a different perspective. This change not only represents a new challenge but also an opportunity for growth and professional development.
Thank you, Mondelēz Internacional , for giving me a space to grow, learn, and share my passions. And thank you to all the colleagues, leaders, and friends who have been part of this journey. These 4 years are a testament to the power of teamwork, resilience, and commitment. Here’s to building more together! ??
Sharing some pictures of my journey. Honoring those who still are and those that left a special memory in my heart.
