Bitcoin’s Mainstream Acceptance Grows As Presidential Candidates Include It In Their Platforms

Bitcoin, the world's first and most popular cryptocurrency, has been gaining mainstream acceptance in recent years. This is due in part to its rising value, which has made it hard to ignore for a growing number of people. That said, the wider acceptance of Bitcoin can also be attributed to the increasing number of businesses that now accept it as payment, which makes it easier for people to use Bitcoin in their everyday lives.

Bitcoin’s increasing prevalence is also being reflected in the political arena. A number of presidential candidates, like Vivek Ramaswamy, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and Ron DeSantis, have included Bitcoin in their political platforms, with all three promising potential voters that their right to use Bitcoin will be protected should they be elected to the United States’ highest political office.

Here are some of the benefits of Bitcoin that politicians are starting to notice:

  • Bitcoin is truly decentralized, which means that it isn’t subject to government control. This makes it a more attractive option for people who are concerned about inflation or government overreach.
  • Bitcoin is digital, which makes it easy to transfer and store. In other words, it’s a more convenient option for people who want to make international payments or who want to store their wealth in a safe and secure way.
  • Bitcoin is scarce, which means that its value can’t be stolen via inflation. So it’s an attractive option for people who are looking for a way to protect their wealth from the fiscal mismanagement of others.
  • Bitcoin is transparent, with all transactions are recorded on a public ledger, which makes it difficult for criminals to use Bitcoin for illegal activities. That could make it a more attractive option for politicians who are concerned about crime.

Overall, Bitcoin has the potential to revolutionize the way that money is used and managed, and people from all walks of life are starting to notice. As Bitcoin becomes more mainstream, it’s likely that more politicians will start to include it in their political platforms.

Look at these guys - there's not a one I would trust to hold my wallet, much less my democracy...especially the fascist to the right. Buying into an idiotic idea does not magically make the idea good. Still idiotic.
