Bitcoin- It's Only a Flesh Wound!

The fact I never understood cryptocurrency has saved me a lot of money. Is it any different than Three Card Monty? It looks easy and you almost win. Someone else receives all your money. Better luck next time.

It is not regulated so if a company goes under? Tough luck. If a bank goes under the FDIC insures deposits up to $250,000.

I shall never trust Bitcoin or cryptocurrency. I don't understand it and anyone explaining it seems like they are pulling the wool over my eyes*. The ones who haven't lost everything still believe in it.

Someone said "If they can remove the scammers from crypto, it would be good." By the same token, prostitution would be a viable business without human trafficking and crack dealing would be legit if not for machine guns in broad daylight.

Like it or not, Sam Bankman-Fried is the face of crypto. Be careful who you elevate and deify. Cryptocurrency is a fringe investment. FTX collapsed overnight and life continued. There are not many new customers.

One in six might invest in crypto. It is no more. Would you want to go in as a neophyte? I would not. This currency is not used to buy anything except drugs.

Until the perception that scammers and criminals use crypto to hide their assets- Alex Jones is supposedly hiding his assets in crypto. Is that the kind of person you want to associate with?

At a Chinese buffet I was given a fortune cookie at the end of the meal. I don't recall the fortune. On the back of the fortune was an ad for FTX. Their fortune disappeared overnight.
