The cryptocurrency Bitcoin has seen a surge of 175%.
On Wednesday Bitcoin was trading at ￡34,000, markets have hit highs this week at with Gold hitting ?$2,135 per troy ounce.
Both bitcoin and gold as commodities outside of traditional currency in times of high inflation are treated as good investments.

AI finds 800 years of knowledge
Google’s Deepmind AI discovers 800 years of knowledge.
In an odd announcement – Deepmind AI – Google’s AI division has discovered 2.2 million crystals with nearly 400,000 of these stable enough to aid the development of technology.
Microsoft heavily backs ChatGPT – which favours a direct-to-consumer model. Google’s Deepmind leans more into research.

AI to reduce the number of hospital admissions
In the South West of the UK, an AI will be trialled to help services offer preventative care.
Called “Brave AI” the system is to be rolled out in 30 practices after a trial with NHS Somerset where falls saw a reduction by 35% and a reduction in ambulance callouts by 8.7%.
Using an algorithm - it will assess patient records to prevent emergency call-outs and direct preventative care.
While AI is currently being used to generate content with ChatGPT, it’s used like this that AI will truly prove its worth, enabling greater improvements.
