Bitcoin falls -1000/+500 pips weathering a rough week

Bitcoin faltered 1000 pips, gained 500 pips, and volatility got cut in half. Seems like the bulls and bears are having a tough time settling their scores. Although it survived a rough week, what's up ahead would be no less interesting provided it settles above where it is now. Does anyone have a crystal ball or a healing spell?

Regardless of the direction it may take, Bitcoin is still the gold standard compared to alternate choices - the only cryptocurrency with the potential for use globally (like foreign exchange).
