Bitcoin or Bacon, which is more dangerous?
Is Bacon really that dangerous?
Yes, bacon really is killing us (read at the Guardian online): The long read (source article in the Guardian on 1 March 2018 by Bee Wilson).
The Guardian report is based on the World Health Organisation (WHO) announcement that eating bacon is a threat to your life. Apparently, eating 2 rashers a day for your lifetime increases your risk of Bowel cancer by 18% over your lifetime
According to the World Bank, average life expectancy in the UK is 81.60 years and the USA is 78.74 years. That's 59,568 slices of bacon over a lifetime in the UK, that's an awful lot of bacon to consume.
The WHO report was covered extensively by the media including the BBC and newspapers, though no mention was made of the health benefits of those on a Keto diet (where you replace eating carbohydrates with eating fat) and thereby reducing the risk of obesity, heart attack & diabetes.

What about Crypto & Bitcoin, is that dangerous too?
On 1 January 2017 total market cap of Cryptos was $17.8 billion, on 1 March 2018, total Crypto market cap is $455.8 billion. Bitcoin (BTC) has moved from $952.23 (31 Dec 2016) to $10,951.00 plus $1,294.08 for your BCH Bitcoin Cash (source: Coinmarket.com).
How does JP Morgan share performance under Jamie Dimon compare to Bitcoin?
According to reports from Bloomburg & CNBC in September, JP Morgan Chase chief executive Jamie Dimon was reported stating that Bitcoin is a "fraud" and saying he would fire any trader known to be trading the cryptocurrency.
Over the same period (1 Jan 2017-1 Mar 2018), Jamie Dimon's firm (J P Morgan) stock price has moved up from $86.29 (closing 30 December 2016) to $113.43 (at close on 1 March 2018), source: Yahoo Finance.
So over the period, J P Morgan is up 31%, in comparison Bitcoin (BTC+BCH) is up 1,186% over the same period. Maybe Jamie should try Bacon sandwiches?
