Bitcoin Back Door

Bitcoin Back Door

Could there be a back door somehow built into the system, that at a certain point in time Satoshi Nakamoto will “open” and cash in and make an unimaginable amount of money, in the process destroying the whole cryptocurrency system. Or is it possible that the founder is under the control of “greedy” individuals/organizations. Maybe the founder was abducted or killed.

Where did Satoshi Nakamoto disappear to? Any clue who he is? Many theories exist and some claim that they know. This is the name used by the unknown person or people who developed bitcoin, authored the bitcoin white paper and created and deployed bitcoin's original reference implementation. As part of the implementation, they also devised the first blockchain database. Now, wouldn’t you think that given how popular and lucrative Bitcoin has become that Satoshi Nakamoto would be in the news and cashing in on Bitcoin’s popularity?

Maybe Satoshi Nakamoto is truly an altruistic individual and only developed Bitcoin for the good of all and as a benefit to society. We are aware that initially the founders received bitcoins that are now worth a lot - the exact amount depends on the Bitcoin value.

Thinking a little more about this, won’t the new generation of computers be “incredibly strong” and be able to crack the code thereby providing people with the ability to steal crypto currencies and create havoc? I don’t think that there will be any alternative other than to eventually create a registrar because crypto users can and already lost their “code” and then consequently lost their money (sometimes in the order of billions).

If a person dies and doesn’t leave any trace of the funds then the heirs are doomed. It is just lost. Also, the advantage to the classic banking system is that funds in the bank are harder to steal by means of threats because when funds are transferred from one bank to another there is always a “trail” and banks don’t just transfer money. With crypto currency a person is very vulnerable to being robbed - a criminal just has to threaten the bitcoin owner into giving the code – hardly a way to prove that they were robbed and nearly impossible to trace the funds. People steal smaller amounts than millions – so why shouldn’t they be tempted to steal larger amounts of money.

Satoshi Nakamoto, or whoever it is, just proved a total stupidity and naivety of the mankind. How could it happen that burned petrol and coal that produced electricity and computing power became money. It was money until it was burned. After burning it became a useless heat and smoke - bitcoins. Heat and smoke treated as money. Ridiculous and sad because it is reality. And a person who exchanges some real value to 'heat and smoke' already robbed. But really the person was robbed long before. When he lost his mind.
