Founded in 2006, Rovira Foods Inc. (RFI) specializes in the representation, marketing, and distribution of Rovira brand crackers, cookies, snacks, and non-food consumer goods. Primarily serving markets in SBA Puerto Rico & U.S. Virgin Islands District Office area, the U.S. mainland, and the Caribbean, RFI has expanded over the years to consistently meet the demands of approximately 700 establishments.

Led by Frances Rovira Vecchini , the company has been working hard to grow its business, especially expanding into the international marketplace. With a background in pharmaceuticals, Rovira took charge in 2006 and focused on growing the company's export sales.?Initially representing 3% of the company’s sales, RFI's export sales now comprise a larger part of their overall business, contributing around 15%, with a goal of 20% by 2025. RFI exports to various islands of the Caribbean and Central America and have recently entered the markets of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

In navigating the complexities of exporting, SBA's "The Riddle of the Exporter" workshop has served as a valuable sounding board, offering essential experience and information. They also received assistance from SBA’s Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan forgiveness in 2020, which helped keep the company running and maintain a safe environment during the pandemic.
