Birthing Brilliance
What is Waiting to Be Born Within You This Christmas?
As Christmas approaches in literally four weeks’ time, the world often turns its gaze toward the nativity story: a celebration of Christ's birth, a moment that transformed humanity forever. But what if this season and the birth of Jesus at this time of the year is also about what brilliance is ready to be born within you?
What if this is the time to pause, reflect, and ask yourself: What is brilliance is longing to be born within me that aligns with a higher state of being and Christ consciousness?
As the poet Rainer Maria Rilke wrote, “The future enters into us, in order to transform itself in us, long before it happens.”?This transformation—the birthing of something sacred within—is not just an annual ritual. It is an invitation to connect with the divine spark that resides in us all.
For me this is the deeper meaning of Christs birth at Christmas. The story of Christ's birth is one of humility, hope, boundless love and emerging brilliance. It’s the embodiment of the divine choosing to dwell within human form. For those who look beyond the historical and theological aspects of Christmas, this event is also a metaphor and very symbolic. It symbolizes the birth of goals, dreams, virtues, purpose, and higher ways of being that align with Christ consciousness—a state of compassion, wisdom, and unity waiting to emerge in alignment with the divine.
Recent studies in positive psychology show that cultivating virtues such as kindness, gratitude, and forgiveness leads to improved well-being and deeper connections with others. These findings echo the essence of Christ consciousness: a life lived in alignment with higher values creates ripple effects of healing and invites in karmic positivity not just for oneself but for the community and beyond.
This Christmas I invite you to ask: “what wants to be born within you?” I invite you to go beyond the festivities and decorations. Use this sacred season as a mirror to reflect on your inner life:
Just as Mary nurtured and birthed Jesus, each of us is called to nurture the divine seeds of success, prosperity and dreams planted and waiting to grow within us. These seeds might look like a commitment to serve others, a renewed dedication to spiritual growth, or even the courage to face a personal challenge with faith and grace.
It is also a time for reflection.

Research has shown that reflective practices, such as prayer, journaling or meditation, increase self-awareness and foster personal growth.
That is why I am sending this now, four weeks before Christmas, to give you the opportunity to pause, reflect, and take time during this Christmas season to sit with these questions:
In conclusion, the message of Christmas isn’t confined to the birth of Christ in Bethlehem over two thousand years ago. It is a timeless reminder that each of us is capable of birthing something divine into the world. Whether it’s greater compassion, a renewed sense of purpose, or a deeper connection with others, this season calls us to co-create with the divine in a sacred birth.
This Christmas, may you not only celebrate the birth of Christ but also honour the sacred birthing within yourself. After all, what greater gift can you offer the world than a life aligned with divine love and purpose?
Let this season remind you: You are both the manger and the miracle.?What brilliance will you birth this Christmas?
Until next time.
