The Birth of New Money

Professionally, I am passionate about #Marketing and #Web3. I have other passions as well and I'm not shy about sharing them on LinkedIn. ?????????????????
I was speaking with a friend the other day who is most definitely not a crypto person.
But he made an interesting observation.
“You know, it seems like every time that Bitcoin goes down, it settles at a level than was higher than the previous time. It certainly looks like it is here to stay.”
I studied history in college and a lot of people used to ask me “what are you ever going to do with history?”
The answer, I suppose, is see narratives that are repeating.
When you study history, you have the ability to recognize that massive change doesn’t happen in a few weeks or even a few years. I mean, the build up to the US civil war, for example, was 70 years in the making, if not more, right?
We’re 13 years into the digital money era. That’s a blip and the entrenched system is hundreds of years old.
This change won’t happen overnight, but it is happening.
Seven years ago, when I started preaching the Bitcoin gospel, almost no one had heard of Bitcoin.
Today, it’s hard to find someone who hasn’t heard about it.
You don’t think that matters?
Zoom out.
We’re watching a birth happening in front of our eyes and from the perspective of 100 or 200 years down the road, these 13 years will be a paragraph in a history (e)book.

[Askng from a point of view of how I can move toward a direction of early adoption]
