Birth Of New Cuss Word #$@%

2020 began with introduction of a new “Cuss” word. It has become popular globally leaving behind its 'Distant Cousin' which became popular ‘under consent of the King’. It is used commonly & understood (and feared) by all ages across globe. It is part of every conversation, be it on dinner table, phone calls, chats & Zoom meetings (new synonym for Video Conferencing). It’s all over the News Channels, Newpapers, Radio. Isn’t it surprising that a Cuss Word is being used openly & we are all ears. The Cuss word is “C*v!d”

I don’t abuse hence the hashtags :) but I am sure you have guessed it Right!

I am reminded of a story of Emperor Akbar and Birbal. (Disclaimer please do not take any offense for the comparison)

It was season of Hilsa fish (which we are into right now) and everyone in Akbar's Court were bringing it up in every conversation. He was tired of it, as always, summoned his trusted aide Birbal and shared his agony. He challenges him if, he could ensure no one talks of Hilsa, for one day in his Court. Birbal requests the King to grant him time to think.

Next morning dressed in rags with muck all over of him Birbal heads to the market. Everyone starts wondering and laughing what is wrong. He buys the biggest Hilsa props it on his shoulder and reaches the King's Court. Every Sentry, Minister and Attendees look at Birbal in a state of shock. Emperor Akbar gets very angry. He asks Birbal reason for insulting the decorum of the court by dressing shabbily. To this Birbal bows his head and apologizes for his act and candidly says “Maharaj everyone noticed how badly dressed I was and the stink of the muck. Not a single person noticed the huge Hilsa on my shoulder” With this the whole Court & Emperor went into hearty laughter. Once again Birbal had won everyone’s heart.

So how do we evade this frequent conversation around the Cuss word? It’s been months since everyone has been pouring over it with no gains. “When one is in deep $#!t It is Best to keep mouth shut and raise hands for help”. Let’s follow the “Three Monkeys” principle. Make it a point to avoid Listening, Viewing (reading) or Speaking about it. I am sure many of us are aware of the term “Zohnerisms” looks like we are living it all through again.

It’s better to keep our mouths shut (with a mask), hands out of the muck (clean and sanitized) and get back to living life.

Help Each Other. Stay Safe!

Thoughts?

Psst! Yes it is possible to have a conversation without using the cuss word and other words related to it. I just did it...so can you. Good Luck!
