Just finished a new type of project using ultra high resolution photos (50Mpx each) combined to make big panoramas (so-called "GigaPixel" images) that can then be used and zoomed into for visual inspection of fine details.
We tackled the Birmingham Bull Ring shopping centre's highly complex facade using this technique for a major engineering company. It was done from the ground rather than a drone, as Christmas traffic disruption was not possible - great for Crimbo shopping, though, for the crew (during breaks)!
This is a new technique and an interesting option in our toolbox for certain situations.
