Bird's Eye View on everyday situations

The birds eye view of the situation plays an essential role in every one's life. I would like to quote some instances to prove that. 

In the first case, let us consider a congested road (like that in Indian cities). It is not rare to notice that a bus moves faster than a car. Also, the vehicles behind the buses tend to move faster than the ones that are not.

On the other hand, two drivers starting from a same point but different routes. A driver who uses a map application which gets updated with live traffic status tends to reach the destination faster than the one that does not use. The reason mostly would be the ability of aerial sight of the street. (Here in the case, satellite's view)

On analyzing the above two examples, it will be evident, that decision and progress of a person depends on, the point from which he/she sees the situation. A person who sees the problem from a top view will be in a better position to solve that, than the one who is inside the problem and not able to view it from top. In daily situations, if a person is able to detach him/herself from the crisis he/she is facing and perceives the same from a top view, as though the problem is not his own, the solution can be found out easily. For example:1) When a ship behaves abnormal in the weather, project yourself out of the ship and see it from top. Visualizing the movement of stability parameters will be easy. 2) An interdepartmental conflict- can be resolved easily by seeing the issue from top, and the list goes on.

The major benefit of detaching from the self and viewing from top is, the person detaches himself from the emotions attached with the problem too. 

Nowadays, there are many tools, that can be used to get a perception similar to the birds eye view. All the tools aid us in projecting the problem on the screen or on the paper and detach us from the crisis, so that an effective solution can be achieved. Fro example- a graphical representation of data. 

Also, it cannot be denied that, a person who practices detaching one self from the crisis will be a better problem- solver in the long run.
