BioZyme? Staff Travels to EuroTier
This week the world’s largest trade show for companies directly involved in animal agriculture is happening. And it will be the first time many of our staff, including myself will be attending. So, I wanted to find out more about EuroTier, and took a few minutes to talk to Volker Altenbokum, our Director of International Business Development about BioZyme?’s involvement at EuroTier.
Lisa: Volker, when and where is EuroTier and what makes it so important for an animal nutrition company like BioZyme to attend?
Volker: Like you said, Lisa, EuroTier is the largest trade show of its kind in the world. It is November 13-16, in Hanover, Germany. But not only will we be able to make contact with our partners and potential partners from Germany, we’ll be able to share the Amaferm? messages with companies across the globe.
Lisa: What kind of presence will BioZyme and our staff have at EuroTier?
Volker: Besides you and I, our entire international team and our key researcher Dr. Lynsey Whitacre will attend as visitors. We will have a presence in the booth of Pulte GmbH&Co., BioZyme’s exclusive partner in Germany and Austria. Pulte’s booth is located in space D19, Hall 20. Also, on the afternoon of Nov. 14, Pulte has planned a reception, so our staff will have another opportunity to talk to Pulte’s customers and learn more about their needs and how Amaferm can complement those needs.
Lisa: What other opportunities will be waiting for us?
Volker: Our team will get to visit with other global partners in one place such as partners SPIN Colombia, DCL Canada, Timac Brazil, Techmix USA, and Nisso Shoji Japan. We are also planning a signing ceremony with our new Chinese partner. So far, we have several dozen meetings planned for the week.
Lisa: Tell me what the highlight of EuroTier is for you?
Volker: To me, attending EuroTier means getting to connect with the market. You can count on the entire feed and feed additives industry to be present there. Unlike some other exhibitions, you have both national and international decision makers visiting, which gives EuroTier even more importance. There are numerous technical events and educational forums organized that discuss real questions and challenges of animal production. From a marketing standpoint, I would say the event gives great visibility to the exhibitors -think about the impact of more than 150,000 people attending and more than 40,000 being international visitors. To me, it is simply the place to be and I am very much looking forward to it!
