October was another busy month for Zyme, with plenty of post-summer-rush news announcements, lots of local events, and even a team rowing lesson with Cambridge Rowing Ltd. Keep reading to find out more!

We're excited to announce that we are the official media coordinator for SLAS2025! The annual International Conference and Exhibition by SLAS (Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening) returns to San Diego from 25-29 January and our team are looking forward to joining!

The conference brings together a large, global community of industry leaders and celebrates the interconnectivity of technology and discovery, laboratory automation, innovation and analytics. With a packed schedule of presentations, alongside exhibitions from some of the most innovative companies in our sector, the event is one not to miss.

?Where we've been....

• Several of our Zyme colleagues travelled to London for ELRIG UK Drug Discovery, where they enjoyed a packed agenda of presentations on the latest innovations and breakthroughs from across the life sciences, as well as catching up with a few of the publications we work with.

• Our team attended Start Codon's latest START Programme day: 'Meet the Experts', where Lorna Cuddon gave a presentation on communications for early stage life science start ups, sharing best practices for developing strategic communications plans.
• We joined Kadans Science Partner and SDC Builders for the breaking ground ceremony at Merlin Place, North Cambridge. The new purpose-built science facilities will comprise of CL2 wet labs, dry labs, and office space, addressing the current lack of available lab space in the Cambridge cluster.
