Remembering cancer and stem cell pioneer Dr. Connie Eaves ??

She had an 5-decade career, but I myself became familiar with her work when I worked at STEMCELL Technologies in 2017-2018.

STEMCELL was founded by Connie's husband Allen in 1993, and they co-founded BC Cancer's Terry Fox Laboratory in 1981.

Dr. Connie Eaves was also a professor in the Department of Medical Genetics and the School of Biomedical Engineering at the The University of British Columbia.

For life science vendors selling lab products and services, keep a pulse on the research market, staying in tune with what scientists need to reach their experimental goals.

Don't become so focused on your own technology that you make something "cool" but that the market doesn't need.

Foster relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) who set the trends in their particular field of research.
