Bionic-Reading for your proposals!?
As bid or proposal professionals, you put a lot of effort into making your content great and your copy scan. But what if there was a way to make it actually easier for your reader to read it by feeding your text into a magical machine? Wouldn't that be amazing!....
Well you can!... it's called Bionic Reading
(I'm intrigued to see what Federal bid writers make of this!)
This new approach is based on research that helps the brain consume content more easily and quickly by emboldening key parts of the words. The idea is your brain simply reads the key parts of the words and fills in the blanks. You simply feed in your text and it does the rest for you. So... here's the same article again but now using the Bionic Reading approach.
Please let me know whether you find it easier to read than the original version of the article.
Comment on this post and I'll send you the link to the free tool.
We've had a revolution in the Aires household. After too long of messing about with old vaccum cleaners (even ones that were good in their day - Mieles and Dysons) we are taking them to the skip (see photo!) and have invested in..... A SHARK!

This?thing?is?just?amazing!
As?Abraham?Lincoln?famously?said: “If?I?only?had?an?hour?to?chop?down?a tree,?I?would?spend?the?first?45?minutes sharpening?my?axe.”
Forget?that!?Just?upgrade?to?a?chainsaw!?Sometimes?you've?just?to?accept?that?the?way you're?doing?things?is?frustrating,?time-consuming?and?not?very?effective!
We've?all?heard?the?quote?and?what?Lincolns's?getting?at,?but?how?many?of?us?plug?away?week?after?week?with?the?same?old?bid?and?proposal?approach.?Perhaps?you're?a?bid manager?and?you?know?you?want?to?get?more?innovative,?to?spend?time?improving?how you?respond,?but?there's?never?enough?time.?I?was?chatting?with?Kathryn?Bennett recently?who?said,?it's?easy?to?set?up?a?proposal?factory?that?efficiently?produces.... rubbish!?Also?as?Carl?Dickson?also?talked?about?recently?focussing?on?efficiency?rather?than?results?(effectiveness).
Are?you?spending?a?little?bit?of?time?each?week?thinking?not?just?about?the?process...?but how?you?can?improve?the?process?to?be?more?effective?and?WIN?MORE!?What?new tools?or?methods?out?there?will?improve?your?team's?effectiveness,?not?just?your efficiency??Working?smarter?not?harder?

2 年Kevin Aires can you put this in the PIE community, too, under "technology?" I'm curious about what folks might have to say there :)
