The Bionic man
Jerry Fletcher
Messaging Master and International Professional Speaker, I find the words and graphics Coaches, Consultants and Entrepreneurs use to become more memorable and more profitable even when they are not sure they are unique.
When I was younger, I used to kid about being alive as long as spare parts could be found.
That is no longer a joke!
An appointment with a Urologist tells me another operation may be looming.
One of my clients calls me the 6-Million Dollar Man.
Given the price of healthcare that is a pretty good estimate. Seriously. My pharmacist asked me if I wanted to see the value of one of my prescriptions. Without insurance the price for 90 days of pills would have been $2500. With insurance it was still nearly $500!
A friend of my ex-wife was diagnosed with Cancer. The only treatment that worked cost over $80,000 per treatment. The charity trying to help him could only afford one treatment even though he was renowned in his own land.
Spare parts aren’t cheap.
Without insurance the only option is to become a cripple or wither and die. There are no other choices. When you are young you tend to not notice as you are healthy. But as you age you begin to feel what your negligence has reaped. You begin to get accustomed to aches and pains, so accustomed that when they aren’t there you feel something is wrong.
You can make a difference.
If you are an employer, include medical insurance in your remuneration of all employees. All of them. Full time and Part Time. Whatever their level of education they need this boon from you. Whatever their age, they need to know their health is important to you.
