Still, you can surpass that limit by using the power of positivity and the tools you have at your disposal, thanks to scientific breakthroughs. The possibilities are endless, rooted in the idea that we can become smarter, faster, and better. Biohacking is not the latest supplement or therapy but a systemic way of thinking about your health and implementing the most minor and easiest #lifestyle changes that will bring excellence to your performance in a meaningful and sustainable way.?

The biohacking spectrum ranges from simple lifestyle and dietary changes, walking barefoot on the grass, and spending time outside in the sun to advanced bio hacks such as cryotherapy, stem cell therapy or IV nutrition.

Do not confuse biohacking with transhumanism, a movement that believes in incorporating technologies into your body, which one day, in my opinion, may become inevitable.

The right way to start biohacking is by changing your mindset.

First, you must acknowledge that you have unlimited power and are the creator of your own life. Biohacking highlights the importance of keeping the big picture in mind, and the goal is to discover the best balance of physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and intellectual health.?

Next is optimising your #health. Optimal health is a state of body but also a state of mind. Unfortunately, optimal health doesn’t come to us naturally, and we must incorporate modifications to enhance our physical and psychological #wellness. But how do you know what works for you?

Genetics has proven that you are unique, just like everyone else. Humans are 99,9% identical and what makes us unique is 0,1% of our genome. It doesn’t sound like a lot, but this 0,1% equals 3 million base pairs out of 3 billion in the human genome.

In those three million differences lie the changes that make you unique; you can find changes that increase your risk of heart disease or differences that allow you to run faster or make you lactose intolerant. By sequencing your genome, you can learn large amounts of information concerning all aspects of your physiology. You can take preventative measures by identifying genetic variants that may increase your likelihood of a particular disease later in life. The more we know about our genes, the quicker we can make lifestyle choices that lessen the possibility of developing certain conditions or delay their onset. I agree it might be scary to know what is waiting for you in the future, but KNOWLEDGE IS POWER.?

The good news is that you can change the way your genes are expressed through #epigenetic mechanisms. Your DNA receives signals from the environment (such as where you live, what air you breathe, what food you eat, how you handle stress, and what type of exercise you do) and can work through the epigenome to change your gene expression.
