Good luck is a marriage between hard work and consistency.
No one becomes lucky in a day.?It takes years of hard work and staying consistent to be lucky.
People these days consider luck something random. But let me tell you, there is no such thing as being lucky. Every man creates his own luck.
Let me explain with an example. If you buy a lottery ticket and you don’t win. You’ll be disappointed. But if you buy several lottery tickets for the day, you might win one.
The probability of winning a lottery increases when you buy more tickets because you have more chances.
The same goes for anything that tries harder than others.
When I started writing on Medium, I wrote 2–3 articles daily, which I did for a year. It helped shape my writing for the platform and gave me a new voice.
After 16 months of constant work, I started earning $1500 every month for the platform.?Some people might consider it luck, but in reality, it’s pure hard work with consistency.
In this blog, you’ll learn what to do to improve your life instead of watching Netflix all day.
1. Count 25 things you’re grateful for
Pick pen and paper and write down 25 things you’re grateful for. Write more if you can.
2. Write where you see yourself in 5 years
If you can imagine it, you can achieve it. Think about where you want to be in the future.?Don’t think if it’s possible now or not; know where you want to go in the future.
3.?Read a book
Fiction or non-fiction doesn’t matter. What matter are you educate your soul? Feed it with positive content. Learn from the lives of great people. Their failure, their success, and their study are meticulous.
4. Read a blog
If you love reading blogs, I suggest taking the?$5 monthly subscription?by Medium and reading unlimited blogs for the whole month.
5. Write 10 ideas
It only takes ONE great idea to succeed. If you’re a writer, write 10 blog ideas. If you’re an entrepreneur, write 10 business ideas.
6. Go on a date with nature
Nature gives hope.?Study nature. Go for a walk in the park or go out there and see the clouds. Pause your life to focus on the things created by GOD. You’ll find tons of inspiration.

7. Have a deep conversation with your family
Stop being a workaholic.?Spend time with family.?Talk to your parents and your siblings. Ask what is going on in their lives.
8. Measure your progress
If you want to improve something, measure it. Measure your progress and see what you can improve.
9. Be a listening ear to your friend
Everyone is going through hard times. Listen to your friend's problems and give them hope.
10. Improve your skill
Regardless of your level of expertise, spend time polishing your craft. Each day, work on improving your skill. Take a course. Read a book. Get a mentor. Advance one step at a time.
11. Visualize your goal
Close your eyes and imagine getting recognition for your work. Be it promotion, a best-selling book, or starting your company, imagine what you want to achieve.
12. Start a side-hustle
One stream of income is not enough. Apart from a 9–5 job, learn a skill and start selling your services on Instagram or LinkedIn. Write a book. Create a course. Develop an app. Sell it online and earn passive income.
13.?Mentor someone for free
There are passionate people out there who are clueless in life. Help them pick the right career. Assist them in starting a business or give them hope for their future. A simple mentorship can advance their career and put them on the right path.
14. Share your experience with the world
If you have stories, make a YouTube channel and share them. Use Facebook videos to inspire, share your success, and teach people what you’ve learned from particular experiences in life.
15. Find intelligent ways to do complex tasks
Fed up with your routine? Figure out smart ways to do your routine tasks. Innovation is the process of removing steps and simplifying something.
Conclusion
Indeed, you can watch Netflix for an hour or so but avoid binge-watching it. Do these 15 things instead and make your life a bit better.
