Binance Charity Announces Education Initiative with Frankfurt School’s Blockchain Center to Increase Access to Web3 Education for All

Frankfurt, Germany: Today, Binance Charity, the philanthropic arm of Binance, the world’s leading cryptocurrency and blockchain infrastructure provider has partnered with the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management - Blockchain Center (FSBC) to provide free trainings for students, with a focus on women, in the Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), Decentralized Finance (DeFi) as well as Non Fungible Toke (NFT) sectors.?

The donation through Binance Charity will go towards the expansion of the FSBC led Talent Programs, which include the DLT Talents Program to empower women to pursue leadership positions in the blockchain sector; as well as the DeFi and NFT Talents Programs, to develop students for leadership in the DeFi and NFT spaces. Each program runs for 18 weeks.?

?The 12 month collaboration will see the latest cohort of students selected this month (October, 2022).? The project aims to support students - specifically women - in gaining employment in the respective sector.?

The FSBC is the leading think tank and research center in German-speaking countries focused primarily on investigating the implications of blockchain technology. The Center and the program are designed by Prof. Dr. Philipp Sandner and his team.? Sandner is one of the leading experts in Germany & has founded the Frankfurt School Blockchain Center (FSBC) at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.?

This initiative is the latest in part of the wider global Binance Charity Scholar Program launched earlier this year, which now has active projects in Ukraine, Australia, South Africa, France and Brazil.
