?Over the past decade, BIMA Lanka along with our business partners have been able to provide protection to 1 out of 7 adults in the country, through our innovative products – “Per-Day Insurance” and “BIMA Doctor” a 24/7 telemedicine service.
“Per Day Insurance” policies are simple and affordable with minimum exclusions. A customer can pay through any debit or credit card through the Genie payment gateway, or any Dialog mobile customer can opt to pay through their prepaid or postpaid mobile plan. The company’s portfolio of policies includes Hospitalization, Life, and Accident and these are underwritten by insurance partners Fairfirst, Softlogic Life, and Ceylinco respectively. Till date, BIMA Lanka Insurance Brokers has processed more than 100,000 claims valued at Rs. 2+ billion. The superior customer service is evidenced by the fact that Hospitalization claims are processed within 3 days of receiving all documents, and 70% is paid within one day. Our staff of 300+ is spread across offices in Colombo, Galle, and Kurunegala.

?“BIMA Doctor” in partnership with Doc990, offers 24x7 high-quality consultations via telephone with a panel of SLMC-registered doctors. Through this, we serve more than 120,000 users, and?has?completed more than 30,000 consultations, and delivered more than 500,000 pieces of health content.?
