Billy Graham Legacy

On 5th Feb this year, my Mercy and I visited the Billy Graham Memorial Library, his childhood home and his burial site in North Carolina.

The complex is now led by Franklin Graham with a staff base of 560 employees coordinating evangelistic missions the world over - what a lasting legacy!

Without a doubt, Billy was a blessing to millions of people around the world for decades. But his greatest legacy is mentoring others like Franklin Graham who’ll in turn pass on the baton to the next generation. By raising others, Billy will never die. Billy followed in the footsteps of Jesus. Jesus worked for 3 years and left 12 men who turned the world upside down.

Who will cry when you cross-over? Who are you leaving behind? What are you leaving behind? What will last five years after you are gone? Whose life was impacted by your life? Who is alive because you lived?

Real men never die – they just fade away. Their legacy can never be erased from history.

Real men lead. Real men take initiatives. Real men model their children. Real men invest in their marriages. Real men lead their families spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, financially and professionally. Real men are visible – they don’t run away from responsibilities.
