Some things you just don’t see coming.

For us, it was a few things all at once:

An industry-wide slowdown that throttled our month over month growth.

An unforeseen tax bill that came in the middle of our most expensive quarter ever.

Something totally out of left field that made my stomach drop.

As someone who is committed to bootstrapping, I can honestly say Q2 was a heartbreaker, especially after the insane growth trajectory and momentum we were seeing in Q1.

But as Santosh always says, failure is inevitable.

It’s how you react to that failure that determines whether you ultimately succeed.

He knows more about everything than I do, so I’m inclined to listen to him.
