#BigGiveSA: Summer of Service (SOS) -- San Antonio matching gifts up to $2,500!

Today is the Big Give, a San Antonio-wide day of online giving to support local nonprofits. I Chair the Board of Summer of Service (SOS) San Antonio, and I’d like to share some perspective on our impact from Olivia, a high school sophomore, SOS student, and rising servant-leader:

“To me SOS is like a small community of its own. When we participate in service events, where we usually see the same people, we make a connection that we may not have normally made in school. We share the connection that we both enjoy giving back to our community and that we all enjoy being a part of SOS. I've made so many friends and connections through SOS and I am really glad that I did. Without SOS, I probably would've talked to the same 5 people and stayed inside my house on my phone on the weekends.”
