The biggest way you are losing money with your business...

No one goes into business to lose money, no one runs an organization hoping it crumbles. Yet only 2% of all businesses started in the US become profitable.

Unfortunately, many business owners unknowingly lose out on potential revenue and profits due to avoidable mistakes.

Today we’ll talk about operational mistakes that are running your business down to the ground and how to do less for better results

All organizations, regardless of industry, size, or maturity, have a set of foundational activities required to keep the business running and earning money.

These operations vary with every business but one thing is for sure, how you run your business determines whether it can become profitable or not.

Here are some business operation mistakes that bleed money from your business and keep you from growing.

1. **You wear too many hats**

We all start out trading time for money, mostly because that is what our businesses can afford. You are the CEO, Brand Ambassador, Content creator, Project Manager, Software Engineer, Accountant, Logistics manager, and any other role you can master.

Is it sustainable? Eventually, it takes a toll on your body and mind.

You'll often be overwhelmed and on the brink of burnout. The more you juggle the faster you drop the pins. There must be another way of building your business, a way that doesn’t feel like ramming your body into a wall every so often.

And maybe you have hacked the juggling act and your business is thriving as a one-man show. How is your physical health? Are you working out? Your relationships, your family?

It’s not just your business you have an entire life you are building and you shouldn’t drop any pins.

People who want to level up leverage their money for time to be able to do the things that bring more money and the things that fulfill them.

2. **You believe hard work pays**

Hard work has always been glorified as the way to achieve success. With time, that has changed. The traditional method of working and growing wealth no longer works.

Grinding may give you purpose and makes you feel important but unless you are seeing results you are just working for the sake of work.

How many people do you know who work 2-3 jobs but are still in survival mode?

Work is infinite, and prioritizing work over your well-being is a slow form of death for you and your business. In the end, it's not going to matter much to your growth.

Stop saying yes to everything, stop working excess hours, and especially the lack of boundaries.

If there is an easier way to get the job done do it!

As a business owner, build systems and create operations so that your business runs without constantly requiring your attention.

3. **You are the engine of your business**

I have the story far too many times of a person quitting their 9-5 because they had a dream of starting their own business and having a flexible schedule.

As fate would have it, they end up working more hours for less pay. They can’t get the freedom they wanted because they are the engine that runs their business.

Most businesses are fueled by the time and energy of their owner. If the owner steps away the business pretty much stops to exist.

If your business cannot run without you then you haven’t really built a business, you have created a job for yourself. The biggest expense you will incur is the money you lose when you are not working. That’s why it’s important you build a business outside yourself.

4. **You want to do everything**

If you are responding to emails all day, and doing all those other repetitive tasks when will you find the time to get funding, get in front of your clients, or do the work that only you can do?

A lot of these robotic tasks make you seem busy but don't actually get you closer to your goals.

You are the specialist. A surgeon doesn't prep the room, save your energy for the most important work

5. **Quality is the best business plan**

You might read all the books and attend all the webinars that promise to help you to grow your business to 6-7 figures in two weeks.

But unless you offer your clients quality, you are bound to lose out on money.

Do your research, pay attention to the needs of your clients, respond to emails on time, provide quality customer service, take feedback, and improve.

- >Systematizing and automating your business.

- >Systematically eliminating tasks

- >Delegating

- >Batching tasks

Eliminate up to 80% of your daily tasks that don't bring you closer to your goals.

Increase your income by decreasing the amount of time you spend working on your business.

To Your Big Future,
