The biggest problem with habit forming and how can you fix it.

I got a call from my friend Radha, “Prachee, so many people I talk with, want to develop good habits and they don’t know how to go about it. We had gone through numerous learning content available on habit forming. I could not find a simple model to follow for habit forming. Hence, we proposed the MAP (Mind, Action and Practice) model.
Based on my experience, the biggest problem with habit forming is lack of following simple habit making model and you can fix it by following the MAP model.
Being close to nature is a nice habit to have. You must be wondering if you are in a city, how can you be close to nature? You can go to a garden for a walk or develop a beautiful garden at your home. What lacks for many is – action. For a habit to build, action is a must.
As Mahatma Gandhi Ji said - “We cannot, in a moment, get rid of habits of a lifetime.” Adopting new or changing existing habits is challenging. ?There is plethora of books available on the topic of habits. Habits are never out of fashion. All of us want to inculcate new habits and get rid of unwanted habits.
