The Biggest Lie You've Ever Been Told as a Hard-Working Woman...

Drumroll please ?? here it is: The harder you work and the more you sacrifice, the quicker you'll find 'happiness.'

Here's the truth: the harder you work and the more you sacrifice yourself, the quicker you burn out. The sooner you discover that happiness is an inside job, and that external achievements, while exciting, are fleeting and often unfulfilling. There IS a difference between excitement and fulfillment.

Here's what actually happens instead...

?? Constant hustle induces stress that lowers your vibration.

?? It triggers fear that prevents you from taking inspired action and seizing opportunities when they present themselves.

?? It disconnects you from your power and inner voice, trapping you in racing thoughts you can't seem to silence.

?? Your day and night fixation on 'making it happen' energetically blocks its arrival.

?? Your constant output and lack of attention to your own needs catches up with you in the form of burnout and illness; which will set you back even further.

Reflecting on my own career, the times when I hustled the hardest and sacrificed the most—giving up precious time with my kids, friends, family, and myself, trading my health for KPIs, and surrendering my boundaries to take a CEO's call at the dinner table on date night—were not my most abundant or successful times, not by traditional measures or intangible indicators.

My most financially abundant, peaceful, and fulfilling times have come from surrender, release, and practicing healthy boundaries, even when it felt uncomfortable to do so.

From being present for the people who fill my cup, partaking in daily activities that raise my vibration, healing my limited beliefs, and getting crystal clear with myself and the universe about what I want, how I desire to live, and who I want to become—and then learning to embody it with aligned habits and behaviors.

The shifts I made from constant doing to more being led to me leaving my corporate job, where I was working non-stop, to cutting my work hours in half and doubling my income as a solopreneur.

Don't buy into the narrative that overproducing and self-sacrificing to the point of burnout and at the cost of your mental, physical, and spiritual well-being will one day make you happy. Besides, someday is never promised; we only have today.
