I might suggest flipping the order of technology and so-called "soft skills"; to follow the thread of your example, Python is easily replicated by AI, and as a current holder of a Google cloud cert, I can say that I would put soft skills ahead both of these any day. We are in an age of stunted social skills and shriveling interpersonal capacity, both made possible and exacerbated by the proliferation of social media (which seems counter intuitive, doesn't it?). This will not improve without conscious effort and focused learning, and I would strongly advise job seekers to find ways to accelerate their ability to engage with other humans.
