Old question, Is bigger really better? When buying from an independent distributor is this the case? My own 2 cents, No. Would you rather pick a winning number out of 10 numbers or out of 100 numbers? Not using any names but if you consider the top of the list of the large independents how many customers do you think they are selling to. So if they are working with all the Tier 1 EMS companies chances are you might not be getting product because they are selling it to their other customers as well. Or you might think because they are large you are getting the best cost and no one else can deliver this product, that too is incorrect.
