Bigger must be better, right?

Bigger must be better, right?

Neuroscience research is clearly showing us that the most effective learning is distributed and comes in focused bite-size chunks spaced over time - rather than a long course occasionally. The amount we learn does not correlate with the amount of time we spend on a training course!

But maybe there should be no surprises here. We've all probably experienced this approach to learning already. Just think how you learnt to cook, swim or drive a car.

So when it comes to learning at work, why do we assume that bigger is better?
