More evidence that retaining large trees is an effective strategy for storing carbon. The logging industry, planners, and architects need to wake up and stop promoting logging and replanting as a solution. This is particularly of note when mass timber buildings are so often promoted as a 'green' or sustainable solution. They aren't.
