?? "Big Three and a Just for Me"??

A simple approach to getting things done, feeling accomplished, and taking care of yourself in the process.

While playing ball in the yard this morning with my sidekick Bunny, she reminded me of the power of focus.

For when you have laser focus on something you want, you will always get it — just like how Bun always manages to get the ball with every deliberate pounce.

With that, I wanted to share a daily habit in case it can help you, too. It is a habit that helps keep me focused and my eye on the proverbial ball prize.

At the beginning of each day, I define my “Big Three and a Just for Me.”

My “Big Three” are the 3 things I want to get done that day and my “Just for Me” is the reward to myself for turning those to-do’s into to-done’s.

And the Big Three doesn’t have to be a grow-your-business-in-a-day type project; it can be something simple.

?? Why three? Because 3 is a very manageable goal, and when we create goals that are reachable, we end our day on a win. Additionally, by developing the habit of knocking 3 things out in a day, we will always have perpetual motion forward in our businesses.

?? Why a "Just for Me"? Because we need to build into our day at least one thing that focuses on TAKING CARE OF OURSELVES, which is what will enable our minds and bodies to take on the next Big Three the following day.
